PRIVACY:
Your credit card processing is safely-guarded. For your protection, credit card info is NOT collected nor saved in our system. Your name, credit card info, address, e-mail address, or any other pertinent information provided to our company, will not be sold nor distributed for any reason to a third party. Your privacy as well as your security are important to us. All credit card transaction information is sent from your browser to our servers via the most secure encrypted connection available. All transactions are securely & manually processed.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover/ Novus, PayPal, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks and Personal Checks. For your protection, in order to prevent usage of your card without your permission, all order information is subject to verification before we process your order. An automated e-mail will be returned to you for verification. Our Web Store is a Secure Store.

Online payments will be processed at the time the order is placed.  Upon your request a shipping tracking number will be supplied to you and we can assist in the tracking of your package during business days (Mon.–Fri. excluding weekends & holidays). Delivery depends on the carrier’s schedule. BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for delays experienced by the carrier/shipping method of your choice.

CANCELLATIONS:
If your package is already in transit, by simply refusing shipment of the package, it will automatically be returned to BriteLyt, Inc. Should the package arrive, you may request it’s return; and if unopened, we will then issue a return code as “UNOPENED/UNUSED” product. Any package that has been opened will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, less shipping. In such case, only the price paid for the purchased product, less 20% fee & shipping costs, will be refunded and/or credited to your account. No full refund will be issued on any opened product. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Our return policy does not apply to Universities, Research Facilities, Military, and other entities involved in demonstration of, or, for fuel demonstration or testing purposes not involving BriteLyt, Inc.’s research and testing personnel and/or facilities.
Note: Any product opened and used, can be returned, upon your request and our approval, within 14 days of receipt of product; however, the total cost for refurbishing the used lantern will be deducted from such refund. You will be given a written, itemized listing & pricing of the refurbished parts. “DEMO” (demonstration) lanterns purchased from BriteLyt, Inc., are non-refundable; however, you still receive the limited lifetime warranty. (We do understand that there are novice users. Before returning, call us or e-mail us and we’ll be happy to assist you in the learning process before you make a final return decision and apply for authorization.)

WHERE TO SEND RETURNS: You must return any product to our address below:
(DO NOT RETURN LANTERN OR STOVE UNIT IN IT’s INDIVIDUAL BOX. RETURN LANTERN OR STOVE IN IT’s ORIGINAL BOX, PLACING IT INSIDE A LARGER, WELL-PROTECTED BOX. (Damage fees will apply if lantern or stove is not boxed properly; all products need to be returned and boxed properly.)

If you send it to any other address than the stated above, you will be charged for any additional charges that may be incurred. Such charges may be added to your credit card or invoiced direct to you.

No returns will be accepted without proper prior authorization, and only if authorized and/or warranty conditions apply. Contact our service department at (727) 451-7020, or fax us at (727) 451-7198 to request a return authorization. Authorized returns must be received within ten (10) business days after issue of authorization. You must mark clearly on the shipping label the authorization number “AUTHORIZED RETURN No xxxxx”. Returns shipping costs are not the responsibility of BriteLyt, Inc. After inspection of package, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount (see “Cancellations”), for any UNUSED/UNOPENED product.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
In the event that you receive a shipment, which appears to have been damaged or abused in transit, immediately contact our customer service department and a damage claim will be filed with the shipper (i.e. UPS, U.S. Mail, etc.).

LOST SHIPMENTS:
BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for any shipments delivered by the aforementioned shippers to any address other than the one specified on the Sales Receipt. Contact our customer service department and we will track this delivery. Appropriate measures will then be taken to have this package delivered to the desired address.

DISCLAIMER:
Each Sales Receipt, Invoice, etc. will show a “disclaimer” at the bottom of the sheet. This disclaimer states:
BriteLyt products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, even after extended use, we will repair the product without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, improper use, maintenance, storage, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping

BriteLyt’s limited lifetime warranty excludes mantles, glass surround, and if equipped, ceramic nozzles. Springs, screws and attachments are covered for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Your BriteLyt warranty requires you to register your lantern. Warranties begin from the date of purchase, proof of purchase may be required in addition to the serial number on the base of your fuel tank.

This warranty shall not apply if:
(a) The product has been altered, repaired, or modified, outside the warrantor’s factory, by other than the warrantor’s appointed representative.
(b) The product has been subject to misuse, abuse or damage, or has been installed or operated other than in accordance with the operating instructions. BriteLyt, Inc. will not be held responsible for any personal or property damages, as well as loss of property, incurred during the use of these products.”

ORDERS OUTSIDE UNITED STATES: Customs duties and fees will be applied as per your country’s requirements if BriteLyt, Inc. is not notified of such customs and fees before shipping to your country. Contact your country’s customs agency for import duties and fee amounts. BriteLyt, Inc. is not responsible for import customs and fees.
