Care instructions for cast iron

How to care for your cast iron properly:

  • Suitable for all foods
  • Clean only by hand with hot water
  • After cleaning, rub with Petromax care paste
  • Not suitable for the dishwasher
  • Do not use for food storage
  • Only touch with fireproof gloves or oven mitts
  • Do not heat when empty

Conditions of participation in the Petromax promotion "Cast iron weeks - get free care paste!"

Organizer of the promotion is Petromax GmbH, Sudenburger Wuhne 61, 39116 Magdeburg.

  • Promotion period: 15.03.2025 to 19.04.2025, 23:59 German time.
  • Closing date: Upload of receipts is possible until 30.04.2025, 23:59 German time.
  • Eligible products are all Petromax brand cast iron products with the exception of sandwich irons, bread spits, cast iron mortars and rocket stoves.
  • All persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France or Luxembourg are eligible to take part.


Excluded from participation:

  • Employees of Petromax GmbH and their relatives.
  • Entries via competition clubs, automated entries or falsified identities.


Only one entry is possible per proof of purchase - regardless of the number of products purchased.


Promotion mechanics


1. purchase eligible products
Purchase one of the Petromax cast iron promotional products from a participating retailer.
Note: Petromax cast iron sets from DIY stores and specialist retailers are also eligible.

2. upload receipt
Upload the receipt to the promotion page promo.petromax.de. Accepted file formats: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif, .pdf (max. 5 MB).
The following information must be recognizable:

  • Name and address of the retailer
  • Date and time of purchase
  • At least one promotional product
  • Total amount


3. receive free care paste
After successful verification of the receipt, we will send you the Petromax cast iron care paste (1x per receipt) free of charge within 14 days.

Important:
For purchases via petromax.de and in official Petromax brand stores on Amazon and eBay, the care paste is added directly to the shopping cart. A receipt upload is not necessary or possible for these purchases.
Shipping can take up to 2 weeks.


Data collection and data protection


To take part in the promotion, you must complete a form, upload your receipt and provide your email address.

Use of data:
To process the promotion and send the free product.

Data deletion:
Once the promotion has ended, the data will be deleted in accordance with legal requirements. You can find more information in our privacy policy.


Further information
