Ingrédients
- 115 g pecans or walnuts
- 245 g wheat flour
- 125 g sugar
- 1 pt. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs (large)
- 115 g butter
- 4 bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla (ground)
Préparation
Sprinkle the base and sides of the loaf tin with flour. Melt the butter separately and leave to cool. Chop the nuts and toast in a pan.
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients well by hand until you have an even, thick batter. Mash 3 bananas and fold into the batter.
Now pour the batter into the loaf tin, slice the last banana and use it to garnish the top. Close the loaf tin and bake with 3 briquettes at the bottom and 7 briquettes at the top for 60 minutes.
After a short cooling time, turn out the banana bread and serve still warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
