Cast iron stacking grate

The Cast-Iron Stack Grate made of solid cast iron ensures excellent heat distribution – just right for baking, steaming, and cooking with steam on multiple levels in the Dutch Oven. Because it stands on three feet that create the perfect distance from the pot bottom, your meat, vegetables, and cakes won’t burn. You can use this grate immediately thanks to its seasoned finish and don’t need to season it first.

In the pot, on the fire, or as a trivet

For steaming in the Dutch Oven, either one grate is used or several grates are simply stacked on top of each other. If the grate is placed directly in the embers, it won’t take long before it sears the characteristic grill pattern onto your grilled meat. Or you can put the Cast-Iron Stack Grate in the fire and use it as a stand for a percolator, kettle, or Dutch Ovens without feet. It can also serve as a practical trivet for hot cookware on the table.
