It allows you to easily adjust the distance between the pot or kettle and the fire, and thus control the cooking temperature of your food. Thanks to the practical hanging system—a combination of an eyelet and a bend—you can attach the Trammel Hook both to your Cooking Tripod and to the crossbar of your cooking station over the fire.
