Petromax Loden is the strong fabric for campfires & adventures, because it is made of 100 % aus of rolled, mulesing-free sheep's wool - sustainable and without additives. Loden fabrics have been known for centuries as a resilient outdoor clothing fabric and they are still used today, for example, as hunting clothing. The fabric is manufactured in Germany and according to traditional methods in several elaborate steps. First spun, then woven and finally rolled in water under high pressure: So extremely compacted, the natural material Petromax Loden becomes really strong, dimensionally stable, spark-resistant and water- and wind-repellent. Thus, your Petromax loden clothing achieves the highest possible quality and reliably supports you during active adventures in the open air.

How do I properly care for Petromax loden?
Your loden adventure clothing is very easy to care for and will withstand your adventures for years if you follow these tips:
After use on sweaty and sparking expeditions, simply airing it out is enough to make it smell fresh again. Because loden fabric is odor-resistant, body odor and smoke odor will not soak into the material. Coarse dirt (e.g. mud) can simply be brushed out dry with a clothes brush. Normally, washing is not necessary. However, if your explorations have been so intense that brushing is no longer sufficient, you can wash your loden clothing with the specially developed hand detergent or take it to a dry cleaner. You can iron your Petromax Loden to preserve its water-repellent properties. Set your iron to a medium setting and smooth the surface of your garment with light pressure. You should cover the logo and lettering embroideries with ironing paper.
