This Matador cylinder made of high quality glass perfectly complements the Matador burner or flame disc burner of classic kerosene lamps.
The name flame disc burner also describes the operation of the aforementioned burners: a small metal disc above the burner extends the flame to the outside. Depending on the manufacturer, this design is also called Royal burner or Ideal burner. Therefore, the Matador cylinder is suitable for all burners with a flame disc. It is designed to create a draft that shapes the flame and thus ensures optimum light output. This chimney effect can only be achieved if the burner and cylinder fit together.
