Pelam petroleum lamp oil

Description of first aid measures

General information

Remove contaminated clothing immediately.

Consult a doctor if health problems occur.

After inhalation

Supply fresh air. If the product irritates the respiratory tract: Consult a doctor.

After skin contact

Wash off with plenty of soap and water, rinse thoroughly.

After eye contact

Remove contact lenses. Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes with the eyelids open. Consult an ophthalmologist if necessary.

After swallowing

Consult a doctor immediately. Drink plenty of water (200 - 300 mL) in small sips (dilution effect). Avoid vomiting.

Disposal

Avoid penetration of product and large quantities of contaminated wash water into water and soil. Cover drains to prevent the product from entering the drains. To limit emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC), solvent vapors should be directed to a waste gas purification system.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning.

For larger quantities: Pump off product.

For residues: Contain leaked material with neutralizing and non-flammable absorbent and collect for disposal according to local regulations in the containers provided. Absorb small quantities (up to approx. 1 liter) with plenty of water, dispose of water in the sewage system.

Local regulations and legal provisions in connection with the use of solvents and cleaning agents should always be observed.
