preparation
Mix all the ingredients well and knead. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. one hour. Keep the Dutch oven warm in the meantime.
Roll out the risen dough into a thin rectangle.
Now spread the top half with the slightly liquid chocolate cream.
Drain the cherries well and then lay them out in a wide strip in the middle. Spread the remaining lower surface with the cherry jam and roll up the dough. Tip: When rolling up the dough, hold the cherries a little tighter in the middle to prevent them from slipping away.
Cut the resulting roll into slices. Grease the warmed Dutch oven with butter and place the slices cut side down in the oven. A total of approx. 9 snails will fit in the pot.
Close the lid and leave to rise for another half an hour. After the rising time, bake for approx. 40 minutes.
As soon as the cherry buns are lukewarm, remove them from the pan. And brush with a glaze as required.
