The reflector focuses the light of the Petromax lamp and reflects it downwards. This results in several advantages at once: If the lamp is mounted in an elevated position, e.g. with the Petromax lamp holder, no light is lost upwards. Thus, the lamp illuminates the larger area most effectively. If you look at the Petromax from above, the reflector screen acts as a glare shield. However, the Petromax Top reflector is not only an extremely practical addition. It also gives the world-famous high-intensity lamp its characteristic appearance. Side reflector HK350/HK500

The semicircular side reflector encloses one half of the Petromax lamp glass and thus reflects the lamp light. At the same time, the side reflector is an ideal glare shield.

The parabolic side reflector focuses the light of the Petromax lamp in one direction. The curved shape of the reflector thereby creates a spotlight-like beam. At the same time, the parabolic side reflector also acts as a glare shield in the other direction. The reflector is attached to the lamp via two bracket arms next to the knurled nuts. The parabolic side reflector cannot be attached to the lamp together with the Petromax Top reflector.
