Baffle plate HK350/HK500 chrome

The baffle plate is a useful and recommended accessory for any Petromax strong light lamp. In the event of a defective glow plug, small but very hot flames can spread in the lamp and loosen solder joints on the tank. The baffle plate, which is inserted into the carrying frame above the centering base, shields the tank. The protective baffle plate ensures that the tank remains intact even if the filaments are damaged. The baffle plate is also required for mounting the Petromax radiator.

This baffle plate is manufactured for lamps from year of manufacture 2000. These can be recognized by the screwed support rods of the support frame. For lamps before year of manufacture 2000, the support rods are riveted to the frame.
