Well prepared for days without power? The Petromax cool box kx25 lets you independently supply yourself during multi-day Adventures. The ultra-passive cooling system operates solely with regular ice or cooling packs. Without any compressor or absorber, the double-walled and cavity-insulated kx25 keeps ice cold for up to 12 days!

Unbeatable advantage: the interior of the kx25 is designed so that up to 24 x 0.33 l cans or 12 x 1 l bottles can be stored upright and transported within its 25 l volume. Freshly caught fish or brought provisions also find their ideal storage place in your Petromax cool box.

Cooling system with style

The insulation layer of the Petromax cool box, at least 45 mm thick, guarantees you the longest possible temperature retention inside during outdoor use. But that’s not all: the robust PE body is so sturdy that you can easily use the box as an elevated seat or standing surface. This lets you comfortably cast your fishing line or get an overview of your surroundings. Additionally, thanks to its clear-edged design, the kx25 stacks well and can be stored in the cargo area or below deck. Refilling ice and later cleaning the cooling compartment is made easier by the integrated drainage system. This allows you to drain meltwater at any time—especially during use—extending the cooling duration according to your needs.

Adventure-ready handling

Especially when cooking outdoors and using equipment in nature, the demands for reliable gear are high. Besides the extremely long temperature stability, there are other features that make the Petromax cool box suitable for Adventure: indentations on the lid allow for cross-strapping. This way, you can safely stow your kx25 for transport on the deck of your boat or the bed of your pickup. The ergonomic side handles can also be used as strap guides, allowing you to open it even when secured during transport. The non-slip rubber latches can be operated with one hand and you can firmly grip them even with wet fingers. Reinforced locking plates, combined with a standard padlock, provide extra security for your supplies against wild animals. The four rubber feet on the bottom of the cool box ensure a stable stand and also allow air circulation from below.

The cushion core made of permanently elastic foam forms the essential foundation for relaxation in nature. It ensures ideal pressure distribution under load, providing a comfortable seating experience. The Seat Cushion is covered with robust ripstop fabric (600D strength). This makes it withstand frequent use and remain particularly resistant to dirt. Signs of use like mud can be easily brushed off, and heavily dried spots can be removed with a damp cloth.The special mesh fabric on the underside of the Seat Cushion forms a strong anti-slip coating. It gives the cushion grip and creates a firm seat at the camp. At the same time, it promotes air circulation and thus ideal drying after a rain shower. The Petromax insert basket enables gentle and cool storage of delicate foods like fresh vegetables and fruit. It fits perfectly on the inner edge of the Cool Box and creates an additional temperature layer that allows dry storage. With the insert basket, your provisions are always within reach and neatly organized. Thanks to the water-repellent coating, it is easy to clean and remains visually appealing. Raw meat and fish products as well as fatty foods should be hygienically wrapped and stored contact-free in the dry basket.

The Petromax insert basket is available in two sizes and can be used in both the kx50 and the kx75. It is an accessory module that allows you to customize your passive cooling system to your personal needs.
