The
best chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside - everyone agrees on that.
However, a spicy
marinade gives your chicken that unique zing. We show you how to easily prepare irresistible chicken drumsticks with a delicious side dish in the Petromax Dutch Oven.
Ingredients
-
6 chicken drumsticks
-
600 g potatoes (waxy, medium)
-
5 tbsp Asia rub spice mix
-
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
-
1 bell bell pepper
-
1 spring onion
-
1 tbsp oil
preparation
Rub chicken drumsticks with 3 tablespoons of Asian rub and leave to marinate.
Peel and quarter the potatoes, then marinate with the oil and the remaining rub.
Slice the spring onion into rings and roughly dice the peppers.
Place the potatoes and chicken drumsticks in the Dutch oven (note: to cook the chicken separately, we recommend placing a stacking rack on top of the potatoes and placing the chicken drumsticks on top). Now cook everything for 45 minutes, with 6 briquettes underneath and 12 briquettes on top of the closed Dutch oven.
Then stir the potatoes again, add the diced peppers and cook again for a good 30 minutes with the lid on.
Finally, mix the spring onion rings with the sweet chili sauce and pour over the finished chicken drumsticks and potatoes.
