12 days without electricity and all food well cooled? The Petromax cool box makes it possible! The ultra-passive cooling system is operated solely with commercially available ice or ice packs and the double-walled and cavity-insulated cool box keeps ice cold for up to 12 days without any compressor or absorber! The interior is designed to hold a crate of beer in the 50L version! Vegetables, meat or freshly caught fish also find their ideal storage place in your Petromax cool box. With the optional accessories (mesh insert, basket and dividing and cutting board) you can further individualize the storage and store different things separately.

Cooling system with format

The insulation layer of the Petromax cool box of at least 45 mm guarantees the longest possible temperature stability inside when used outdoors. The PE body is so stable that you can easily use the box as a raised seating or standing area. Thanks to its clear-edged design, our cool box is also easy to stack and stow in the hold or below deck. The integrated drainage system makes it easier for you to refill ice and clean the cool box later on. This allows you to drain melt water at any time - especially during use. This allows you to extend the cooling time according to your needs.

Handling suitable for adventures

In addition to the extremely long temperature stability, recesses on the lid allow you to lash it crosswise. This allows you to stow your Petromax cool box safely for transportation. Ergonomic carrying handles on the sides can also be used as belt guides, allowing you to open the box when it is securely loaded. The non-slip rubber latches can be operated with one hand and you have a firm grip even with wet fingers. Reinforced locking plates and in combination with a standard shackle lock protect your stash from wild animals. The four rubber feet on the bottom of the cool box ensure a firm stand and additional air circulation from below.

Correct use of the cool box

• ! Do not use with dry ice !
• Cool down the cool box in a cold room or with ice before use
• Only fill with pre-cooled drinks and food
• Ideally use large blocks of ice in one piece
• Always place ice packs or ice on top, as the cold sinks to the bottom
• Open deliberately and sparingly
• Keep the box in a cool, shady place when traveling and avoid direct sunlight
• Store and transport upright, it is best to strap it down during transportation
