Dutch Oven

The Petromax Dutch Oven is the heart of long evenings. When the embers settle and the heavy cast iron lid clinks softly, what makes cooking over an open fire so special begins. Whether in the garden by the Fire Bowl, on the grill, or on the stove in the kitchen: this cast iron classic brings everyone together who’s already waiting for the meal.Almost anything turns out perfectly in it. You can braise a tender goulash for hours, bake crispy bread, cook hearty stews, or even try a juicy cake. The lid flips over to become a pan, its high edge holds embers and briquettes, so heat comes from both above and below. One Dutch Oven, countless dishes. You feel the quality from the very first moment. Solid cast iron with even wall thickness stores heat and releases it calmly and evenly, without hot spots. Since every Petromax Dutch Oven is pre-seasoned at the factory, you can start right away—no tedious seasoning needed. With every use, the natural non-stick patina improves, turning your new pot into a companion for many years. From the small model for sauces and desserts to the large pot for the whole feast: the Petromax Dutch Oven, also known in Germany as Feuertopf, comes in several sizes, optionally with feet for open fire or with a flat bottom for stove, grill, and induction. This way, you’ll find the right choice for every occasion. Those looking for a particularly light, straightforward start will also find what they need in the Essential version.
