The classic among the sponge cakes. This moist nut cake from the loaf tin is always a good accompaniment to coffee, tea or hot chocolate. With this nut cake recipe, you can make a solid impression and with a few raisins or chocolate, you can make it your own nut cake with an individual touch. 250 g hazelnuts (ground)

Cream the butter, sugar and eggs, then add the baking powder and flour and mix together with the other ingredients to form a smooth batter.
Pour the cake batter into the pre-greased loaf tin, cover with the lid and bake for around 60 minutes. Test for doneness early with a wooden stick.
Tip: If you like it chocolatey, you can fold chopped dark chocolate into the batter or coat the cake with chocolate coating.
