Nobody can resist aresh fruit cake with crumble! The English know this too and have turned it into a simply irresistible dessert: crumble. We show you how to turn the classic crumble with peaches
and mascarpone into a unique crumble cake that you can easily prepare in the Dutch oven.
Ingredients
-
125 g sugar
-
125 g butter
-
225 g flour
-
150 g mascarpone
-
1 vanilla pod (pulp)
-
1 tin of peaches
-
olive oil
-
vanilla ice cream
preparation
Knead the flour, butter, vanilla paste and sugar in a bowl to form a crumbly mixture. Drain the peaches and cut into chunks. Grease the Dutch oven with olive oil.
Line the base of the casserole with a thin layer of the crumble mixture. Spread half of the peaches over the crumble. Spread a good half of the mascarpone over the crumble and repeat the process.
Spread the last crumble over the surface and bake the crumble for around 45 minutes with the Dutch oven closed.
Tip: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
