Thus, the lamp illuminates the larger area most effectively. If you look at the Petromax from above, the reflector screen acts as a glare shield. However, the Petromax Top reflector is not only an extremely practical addition. It also gives the world-famous high-intensity lamp its characteristic appearance. Parabolic side reflector HK250/HK350/HK500 brass

The parabolic side reflector focuses the light of the Petromax lamp in one direction. The curved shape of the reflector thereby creates a spotlight-like beam. At the same time, the parabolic side reflector also acts as a glare shield in the other direction. The reflector is attached to the lamp via two bracket arms next to the knurled nuts. The parabolic side reflector cannot be attached to the lamp together with the Petromax Top reflector.

An air pump or compressor can then be connected to the adapter to quickly and conveniently pressurize the tank. If the lamp is pumped up with the help of the adapter, this also benefits the service life of the filament. Shocks caused by pumping with the hand pump are thus avoided. Thanks to this tool set, consisting of universal wrench (#66) and hand cleaning needle (#180), the maintenance and cleaning of all Petromax models HK150/250/350/500 succeeds without any problems. The universal wrench can be used to loosen many screw connections of the Petromax models HK150/250/350/500, while the hand cleaning needle is designed to clean the nozzle of the rapid preheater.

Viton gasket carburetor & rapid preheater HK150/HK250/HK350/HK500

Made of Viton, the gasket is suitable for sealing the screw connections of the carburetor and rapid preheater of all Petromax models. Its advantage is that it can be used several times. Viton is also resistant to gasoline, so this gasket is suitable to repair old gasoline lamps.

This pump leather is suitable for all Petromax models HK150/250/350/500. Before installation, the pump leather should be greased and kneaded soft. The pure technical petroleum jelly from Petromax (#vas) is suitable for this.

This partially frosted glass cylinder for the Petromax HK350/500 is made of highly heat-resistant borosilicate glass from Schott. The combination of frosted and clear surfaces is ideal for not being dazzled by the bright light of the lamp, depending on the viewing angle. Cooking attachment HK350/HK500

With the Petromax cooking attachment, the Petromax HK350/500 can be quickly and easily expanded to a stove. For this purpose, the cooking attachment is mounted on the carrying frame instead of the lamp hood. The attachment is made of a high-quality steel alloy and with a diameter of 18 cm provides a secure support surface for pots and pans. To make the most of the heat of the lamp, the cooking attachment can be supplemented with the Petromax Radiator. The radiator radiates the heat even more upwards.

The baffle plate is a useful and recommended accessory for any Petromax strong light lamp. In the event of a defective glow plug, small but very hot flames can spread in the lamp and loosen solder joints on the tank. The baffle plate, which is inserted into the carrying frame above the centering base, shields the tank. The protective baffle plate ensures that the tank remains intact even if the filaments are damaged. The baffle plate is also required for mounting the Petromax radiator. This baffle plate is manufactured for lamps from year of manufacture 2000. These can be recognized by the screwed support rods of the support frame. For lamps before year of manufacture 2000, the support rods are riveted to the frame.
