Apple pierom the Dutch Oven - is that possible? Of course it is! Cast iron is a very
traditional material and used to be used almost exclusively for cooking and baking dishes. Baking like in grandma's time is still possible today with the Petromax Dutch oven. In this recipe, we show you how to prepare a fluffy
apple pie with cinnamon quickly and easily.
Ingredients

150 g yogurt (0.1% - 1.5% fat)

2 tsp oil

2 eggs

70 g sugar

1/2 pack vanilla pudding powder

250 g spelt flour
-
2 tsp baking powder
-
1 pinch of baking soda

4 apples
-
cinnamon
-
Raisins as required
preparation
Mix the yogurt, oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla pudding powder, flour, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl.
Peel the apples, cut 2 apples into small cubes (approx. 1.5 cm) and the other two into thin slices.
Mix the diced apples, cinnamon and, if desired, raisins into the dough.
Pour the batter into the Dutch oven.
Arrange the apple slices on top.
